Melinda Dodd
Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, Melinda feels right at home selling real estate in
the city she loves for its family-oriented culture and gorgeous neighborhoods. With
more than 12 years of experience as a successful agent, Melinda has grown to have a
reputation for loyalty, integrity, sharp attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment
to her clients. Open, accessible, and easy to relate to, Melinda has an endearing way
of making people comfortable and always putting her clients’ needs first.
As a Cape Girardeau native, Melinda’s ties to the community are deep and
numerous. By the time she entered the real estate world in 2007, Melinda had already
cultivated meaningful relationships in the community, as well as an inherent ability to
see value and potential where others may not.
Representing buyers and sellers of high-end, luxury homes to first time buyers, her
detailed follow-through, heartfelt drive, expert negotiating skills and wide professional
network have helped her achieve exceptional results for her clients. Melinda has
received multiple Summit Awards, as well as Prudential Real Estate Honor Society
Awards.
Detail-oriented and highly driven, Melinda is passionate about building relationships with
her clients and taking on the various challenges a career in real estate presents. “I love
that every day brings a different adventure. I am dedicated to finding the perfect fit,
whether it be a home or land for my clientele. I also have a deep passion for homes
themselves- how they were made, the materials used to build them, and the memories
that will be made in them!”
Currently residing in Cape Girardeau, Melinda enjoys spending her weekends with her
husband, John, and two daughters cheering on the Ole Miss’s football team in Oxford,
Mississippi! She is involved as co-chair of the Notre Dame Winter Extravaganza, Board
member of the NDHS Education Fund Foundation, and the NDHS Home and School
Executive Board.
